Room Comps at Wynn, Venetian, Mirage? Page 1 of 7. Feb 8, 09, 3: I'm looking for current comparisons between Wynn, Venetian, and Mirage in terms of room comps. I'm a craps low roller. I've stayed at Venetian, Plazzo, and Mirage before, but didn't know to ask for comps so I don't know what I'll get there. Another factor to consider I guess are the pit bosses. My experience has been that Mirage pit bosses are really nice about rating you at close to the highest bet you make at the tables, whereas Venetian seems to nickel and dime you in terms of your rating.
Anyhow, I've been a weekend stay at the Mirage and a weekday stay at Venetian couldn't get a good Venetian weekend rate. Without room comps, it's just too pricy for me to stay there. Can anyone of you tell me what to expect in terms of room comps at these places? Find More Posts by Goosey. Feb 8, 09, 4: I assume you're a member of the rewards program for all of these properties. But if you really want to ramp up your craps comps -- and you didn't say what bets you make -- make a few place bets in addition to your free odds, which many houses don't count at all.

Mirage gave me only the promotion rates they sent me and everyone else. I didn't call TI since I've been unlucky there, but last time they comped me two nights up front. Anyhow, I am planning a 5 night trip in March. I would love to stay at the Wynn this time, but it's going to be tough if I lose money again and have to pay their regular rates.

I was at the Wynn this past weekend and played for hours and hours and hours, making fairly large bets, giving my players card each time, yada yada yada. Not only was I not comped diddly, my stinking casino host didn't even say hello. By staying somewhere else! He was playing and within the first 30 minutes they asked for his players card - he said he didn't have one as he was staying at Bellagio. Within 10 minutes he had been introduced to a Wynn casino host, was offered to go eat at one of the Wynn's restaurants on the house and was told next time he comes to vegas to just call the host and the Wynn would "really hook him up".
So moral to the story Stay at Bellagio, and go play at the Wynn. When they ask for your players card tell them you aren't staying there and were just stopping in for a quick game.
I guess customer loyalty is a 4 letter word at the Wynn. Seems they value the competition's patrons more than their own.
Marc, that is really something. What did your host say specifically? Did you ask to see your rating? What did they have you at compared to your actual play? Was this guy making all hard way bets? I know table ratings are more arbitrary but this is nuts.
How much were you betting on the lines? Pass line if that's what you play? Keep in mind, your odds bets are not considered for comps as there is really no house edge Don't forget the comped drinks while playing Hopefully you're not making the long shot bets too often.. Marc you complain a lot. But you don't give many details. Were you comped the rooms at Wynn? Again - we were both making nearly the same bets. He did make a few more long way bets than I - but were betting very similar. We were both pressing up and both playing the occassional hard way bets.
This latest one does look quite impressive and am very tempted to upgrade from the Harmony Ultimate:. It should work fine. I've got the Smart Hub and love it. Poor battery life just not worth it. This thing wil run for a year on one battery. Plus you can use your iPad or iPhone with as well. I've got a Harmony, which I gave up on after persevering for quite a while. Even spent ages on the phone with Logitech Canada, I think I found that I couldn't get it to do a lot of functions that were necessary for my Toppy PVR, so still had to keep its remote handy.
Eventually, I just went back to using it full time. I still have it, but completely forgot about it, until I found it when moving. I now own two Beyonwiz and their remotes aren't great. All the Wiz owners say to get a Harmony, they are great. TBH, while tempted certainly sounds great on paper, but then again, so did the I am scared that it, too, will end up in a drawer, because I won't be able to set it up properly. It is way too expensive for that to happen: My couldn't cope with the Topfield, and the Wiz is way more complex than that was.
AFAIC, unless it can do everything that the original remote can, so that I can put my other remotes away, it isn't worth getting. So, could some of you please tell me what you use it for and how it works?
What was it that the couldn't do with the Toppy? I've had a couple of s and then touchscreen models with different Toppies for around 10 years and don't recall ever going back to the Topfield remote?
Yeah, strange post,i've used different Harmony models with the Toppy's with no drama, just spend 10 minutes learning any commands that aren't there or 5 minutes moving them around to the buttons you want. I used a with my old Topfield. If I recall correctly, I could map pretty much any function to the physical and screen buttons, not to mention creating sequences of commands.
